The room space is spacious and location is generally accessible within KaoHsiung.
The part that we are not satisfied with is the toughness of the bed, 6 out of 8 team members feedback the beds are hard and difficult to sleep in (I had sore neck after first night).
Front desk staff is helpful but not exactly friendly, if we really want to compared to other hotels we stayed in Taiwan (at least myself is a frequent traveller and stayed for at least average of 20-30 nights in Taipei every year).
Hotel was a little old, but was still in good condition. Staff were friendly and willing to help. It was a pleasant experience staying in this hotel

Disappointing service
We were almost charged for uncontrollable situations for ladies... there is no policy about a fine for laundry cleaning but we complained and then the service wasn't good afterwards. Not happy with their service at all. Never going there ever again! Disappointed with a so called four star!
Good location and close to parks, mrt and the cultural centre

Needs work
Hotel is quite old, the Lees Hotel across the road is much more modern and nicer looking.
Internet (wifi) was practically unusable at all hours. Would not recommend for those reasons.
If hou find it at a decent price though it's close enough to the city centre.
Convenient, walking distance to train station, near food & shopping places. Hotel breakfast is good and the staff are friendly. Hotel is strictly non-smoking which is great!
The hotel is in the heart of the city. Clean and very spacious rooms. The service was good and the staff was very helpful.
The wifi on the 12th floor was bit weak. Overall, I will definitely recommend this hotel to others.
The Staff was very helpful even though there was a language barrier.
The breakfast buffet offered a variety of foods and beverages but mostly Asian. It was fun sampling different foods.
Our room was on the 12th floor, it was roomy with a nice view. There wasn't a dresser so had to live out of the suitcase for 2 1/2 weeks.
There was hotel construction several floors below us. We heard it on our floor but not very loud. Those who stayed directly above and below did receive a refund of a few dollars for the disturbance.
The Maid service was good except I was saving a few items for souvenirs and after a week, she tossed them. (I was saving a plastic bottle for water for my long flight home and empty beer cans for a craft project) I was not happy about that. So, if you are keeping anything, do not leave them out!
