"This is a wonderful place to spend a few days. The ryokan is very authentically Japanese. The staff was helpful wherever we needed them. The food Is good, though our best meals were in restaurants in Takayama. Most of all, the hot springs are AWESOME. The water is so thick with minerals, so rich. We didn’t want to leave."

"The owners and staff were very warm and welcoming. However, the structure was old and a little tired looking. Our sleeping room only had one electrical outlet with a lamp plugged into it. This made charging our iPhones and tablets difficult. Also, the one larger onsen was never available during our 4 day stay.
