Everything about our stay was great! The owner/operator of the Ryokan was very accommodating. A family-run ryokan that I don’t mind staying in again next time around.

I stayed 1 night to explore the surrounding World Heritage villages and it was amazing. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. I had dinner and breakfast and both were plentiful and delicious. We were offered rides to the villages and given guidance on how to take the bus as well. I highly recommend staying here to enjoy the Japanese Alps

Outstanding experience! Our room was spacious and beautiful. The breakfasts were delicious, beautiful and plentiful. We had their dinner feast one evening and it was extraordinary! The surrounding countryside is MAGNIFICENT with beautiful bridges connecting the steep sides of the river gorge. Lovely rice paddies and super friendly townspeople. Visiting the”Gasso” villages nearby was a highlight as was taking walks around the area.

The property is very far away from any bus or train station. If you don’t have a way of transport don’t go there. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

The owners of the ryokan were very accommodating, kind & helpful. The room is big & adequate. Excellent breakfast. The only minus is that there is limited transpo to the inn. And there are no stores or restaurants near the inn. So you need to eat dinner in another village or bring food home.
