"The resort has a great beach and is smack in the heart if Agia Marina. It is about 35 mins to downtown Chania and close to many villages for excursions and dining. It has a big parking area, an on site restaurant that serves good breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms are rather small and best for couples only (at least the one we had). There are no drawers so we spent 10 days digging out of our suitcases which was not fun. The bathroom is also small but functional. AC has an annoying light...

"fan in the room did not work, despite notifying staff (it was not a very hot period though) foul odour from the drain pipe, they fixed it after a few days and in fairness fixed that sooner than I got to complain about it overall wear-and-tear of furniture and surfaces like in 3-star hotel breakfast like in 3-star hotel (no good dried sausage slices or cheeses, no juices) family complained that pool is not heated - it was the temperature for serious swimming, not casual splashing"

"The reneiris hotel is on a hillside overlooking the beach. The view is spectacular and sitting in the balcony each evening was a great experience. BOOK A ROOM WITH A VIEW!! "We found the staff very friendly and the apartments very comfortable and excellent value. The position of the hotel by a small harbour was very pretty and it was very easy to go either into the town or explore the countryside. Our favourite part of the hotel was the pool which was very attractive indeed and easy to access from the apartments. There were shady and sunny areas by the pool. "

"This is a basic hotel, but clean and comfy. Amazing to get a place right on the most beautiful beach! You also save €5 on beach umbrella & chairs because you stay here. Tons of restaurants here and a 10-15min walk along the water to get to old toqn. We didnt have any problems. WIFI is slow in rooms but works amazing on the beach.
