"Great location, right outside JR train station with walking distance to hotel without going outside. Staff are helpful and courteous. Our room able to see Sakurajima volcanoe."

"This hotel was convenient to the train station and fine for a short stay. The rooms have not been updated recently and the furniture and carpets show their age. The bathroom is tiny and two persons will have to take turns using it. However, the rooms are very clean, as is the lobby and reception area. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially with our inability to speak Japanese. "

"The parking was free but it was a long distance from the hotel. There was very limited parking near the hotel entrance and once you moved your car you had to park you had to park far away. The room was good and the location was great because of the convenience of shops across the street. "

"We enjoyed the room for its comfort, much needed from checking out Yamakataya, Shiroyama, Tenmonkan and Sakurajima. It's location and cleanliness were what we needed and what they offered at a very reasonable price. "

"Room size is decent, I was able to lay my luggage out fully. Room is very clean, the bath needs a bit of extra cleaning. Very good price for solo travellers who needs their own space. There is a restaurant downstairs as well though I didn't get to visit in the end. Staff were all very courteous, helpful and friendly"
