"We came with our 2 kids (5,7) and spend one weekend at this place. During the time we stayed (Oct. 2016), this place was mostly booked by young Japanese people, who go there for surfing. "Onsen with a great view. The outdoor onsen was my favorite. It was a perfect temperature and the environment was relaxing. I was solo traveling so I didn't use the ping pong or karaoke room, but I will definitely bring friends next time. I stayed in a traditional tatami style room and was pleased with the layout. I will say there's not much to eat in the immediate area, so definitely include the breakfast and dinner in your stay."
