"Check-in was super fast, receptionist very nice and friendly with great English. The room was spacious enough and very tidy. Room safe a pleasure, free parking was a big plus for us. The area around the hotel and the whole town is quiet and safe. The better price, proximity to the train station and the 20 minute train ride to Strasbourg make staying here more economical and hassle free than staying in a big city."

"Lovely hotel. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I felt a little put out at our treatment or lack of in the hotel restaurant. We were the only brits in a room full of Germans and French. Every single other table were brought a basket of bread whilst waiting for their food and given a free dessert at the end of their meal, even if they’d already had a dessert like we had. It unfortunately marred my stay a little. "

"I had a good stay in this clean and comfortable hotel. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfy and the finishes were new. There were a few minor items that could be improved though. The balcony door didn’t lock which wasn’t an issue for me but might be for others. The drapes only had black outs and not a set of sheers. Again - no problem for me but could impact someone else. "This was a very unique property, and right upon check in, we knew we were staying somewhere special. From the entrance, which was decorated nicely throughout the courtyard leading to the reception area, to the room tastefully decorated with what we could only say is quintessentially French. We had the room with black lace and pink walls, comforter, etc.. It was tastefully decorated with pictures and sculptures on the walls. Really made us feel like we walked into another era. "
