From the small red door to come in, to taking my shoes off inside, the classical music playing on entrance, the beautiful fireplace and welcome area, the suit of armour, the staircase, the 4 poster bed, the free standing bath...I could go on and on but this is possibly my favourite hotel I've ever stayed in. "Good location and a nice property. Three weird things: one the toilet was out of the room and upstairs, two the shower was directly in the room which is very weird and uncomfortable and three there were no staff on site at all which was odd. Otherwise good facilities and a comfy bed."
