"This property was absolutely lovely. We booked late on our night of arrival, past 11pm, and the owner, Gino, was waiting for us when we got there. Our room was cozy, and comfortable, but the star of the show were the three private balconies outside. Overlooking the sea, with a great view, glorious sunshine and comfortable sofas, it was the perfect way to end an evening, and start the day. "Great place to stay, I highly recommend it. Very clean, beautifully decorated, modern shared kitchen, large common area and a beautiful outdoor patio with large painted mural. And the room itself was top notch. Good location, within walking distance to shops, waterfront, restaurants, sights, etc. "

"We stayed three nights at Roaz de Bandeira House. It was very close to the train station and only a 15 minute walk to the waterfront and ferry to the nearby islands with beaches. Our hosts were very friendly and gave us a wonderful orientation to the area. Breakfast each day was delicious and very generous."

"Location was hard to find with Google maps. Even local Police officeris could direct me correctly. Otherwise a good stay in typical small hotel room jn city centre. "

"Wonderful spot to relax and very close to everything for exploring including the Faro train station. The only thing is the owner acts like paying guest are an inconvenience and anytime you ask for anything he is quite irritated. "

Pure Formosa Concept Hotel

"We had an amazing 3 night stay! The hotel was spotless and in a great location. The staff were welcoming and helpful, you could see they worked really hard to maintain the quality throughout the hotel! We used the rooftop pool/bar area everyday and had no problem getting a sun bed. Great facilities which were kept nice and tidy. A very relaxing environment to be in. The breakfast was delicious and had great options. We had a superior room, which was really spacious and had lots of storage and again spotless, lovely interior throughout. The perfect getaway, we would love to come back!"

Domes Lake Algarve, Autograph Collection

"My daughter (aged 9) and I have just returned from a lovely week at Domes Lake Algarve and she is already asking when we can go back. The hotel is a great balance of big, but not too big. We were there mid-August (which I imagine will be one of the busiest weeks of the year) but always managed to find sunbeds when needed and the sand pool is a genius concept. My daughter also loved her sessions at KiEPOS (kids club) which gave me some time to relax and enjoy the spa. A great week all round. "

Real Marina Hotel & Spa

"The Real Marina is a great hotel, whose staff go above and beyond at their jobs. The rooms are big, clean, and have AC. Bed is comfortable, and the bathrooms are spotless. The free internet has enough bandwidth to stream content if needs be. The hotel is not too far from numerous restaurants in Olhao, and it is perfectly positioned for getting a water taxi to the beaches, and the seafood festival. The only negatives I have with my stay there are to do with the bar. The prices of drinks were inconsistent (I paid €15 for a beer and Coke the first day, then €9 at another occasion), and the food options at lunch were not great."
