"Cleanliness is ok but the condition of some room facilities needs constant inspection. Situation: my daughter was trapped in the shower room because the rubber seal on the glass door is in poor state causing it to jam so tightly that it is not able to open . Fortunately, l was able to hear her call for help and had to call service manager to get maintenance crew to force open the door. A very embarrassing situation."

"Good location with local market surrounding it. Supermarkets, eateries, dessert shops all outside. Although theres the butcher next to hotel, the smell doesnt get into the hotel. Masking will be great. MTR and transport is all close proximity. Hotel doesnt provide much amentities, except for the coffee and tea. Otherwise, a good location and decent room to rest. "

"I highly recommend East! We had a beautiful room in a beautiful hotel. Love the plentiful hot water, hand held and rain shower heads, very comfortable beds and pillows. "We had our gift package taken from our room the second day of our stay. Package was placed on top of a sofa-bed, so it would never be mistaken as garbage on the floor! The package was returned by house keeping same day when we asked at the front desk. Not a good feeling at all."
