Heidi and Dan don’t just keep the rooms and premises immaculate, enjoyable and comfortable- they provide delicious breakfasts and great recommendations to places of all types in the island. Mango sunset has a beautiful view of the ocean while enjoying your breakfast, reading a book, or playing a Hawaiian guitar (a guitar was in our room)! We will definitely go back! "

"Nice little place in very good location. 50 yard walk to water front Alii Street full of good restaurants. Very popular place. Would have been nice to have a table to eat at. I always found a place to park but parking is difficult. It is what it is. There was a $270+ fee added to my charge that I was not made aware of at time of booking. Otherwise it was a pretty inexpensive place to stay in an expensive destination"

"The hotel was under construction, which I was aware of when I booked, which gave us a fabulous discounted rate! The construction posed no issues at all; we heard their drills a few stops we stopped into our room during the day, but nothing to disturb us early morning or evening. The rooms were nice, slightly dated, but clean. The restaurant views are amazing!! We watched whales each morning at breakfast; dinner sunset was beautiful and the food was very good. "This place is a real gem! Private deck overlooking the sea where whales are jumping, the waves crash into the pool and the landscaping is breathtaking. the pool is warm the closet hid a bed and there were tvs in the master bedroom and the living/dining room area. the dishwasher was dirty inside and some of the plates were not cleaned well but the views and quiet and ease of access to downtown and sight seeing was worth a few seconds of dish scrubbing. What a pleasure to stay in such a nice place...

"The place was clean but the road noise was unbearable. Keep in mind that “resort view” evidently means right next to a very busy road with outdated windows. As long as one doesn’t mind being at the complete mercy of every car, truck, bus, motorcycle, or ghetto-dweller wannabe 20 hours per day, this place is for you! It was slightly quieter in the closet. At least it compelled me to get out."
