We feel very lucky of having had this stay in the Carina Gold hotel so conveniently located at the heart of the historical Istanbul. Better could not be."

"Very reasonable my priced hotel away from the city. This is a business hotel so expect it to be busy, locality is pretty much industrial although there’s a shopping mall close by with places to eat. . Food & general service was very good. Parking underneath makes it ideal. About an hour away from Old City whether by train or car. Only real snag I had was emails to the hotel prior to my stay were only ever answered in Turkish. "

"The staff was excellent and professional. The room was clean and the cleaning service was excellent. I especially love that the floors are wooden so they can be washed. The hotel was a short walking distance (probably around 7-10 minutes at a medium-slow pace) to Aya Sophia Masjid and the Blue Masjid. I especially recommend praying Fajr at one of the Masajid (especially Aya Sophia). "

"The awesome view of the Blue Mosque, Hagai Sophia and the Boshorus straight is breath taking. Free breakfast has a large selection. Modern amenities, one of the most modern that I’ve stayed yet. Staff is wonderful and you must take advantage of their Turkish bath and Sauna!"

"I stayed for 2 weeks and loved it. Bus stop is just outside and metro is not far away. Supermarket next door. Lovely staff. Will stay again "
