"I stayed in Clayton Hotel, the exterior of the building is historic, but the inside is very modern and maintained well. I took one star off on service as the staffs at the buffet restaurant are kind of impatient, I waited 45 minutes for my omelette, after all. Think they are understaffed at the restaurant. One waitress was screaming at another one publicly when they got busy. Anyway, it’s a great stay after all"

"The hotel is a 7 minute walk from the central train station. It is also within walking distance of several restaurants and stores. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The room was very clean and quiet. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. "

"We thought this was a lovely hotel. Clean, spacious and very pretty. Our room was huge and felt very luxurious. There was no A/C but I didn't check for that when booking. We also ate at the restaurant, staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great! When I'm next in Amsterdam I'll be staying here!"

"The front desk staff members were wonderful! We were a last minute stay as we missed our connecting flight to MSP. The room was comfortable and had those “little extras” for those who may not have all their luggage (such as us!). The staff made a challenging situation easy for us.
