"Late 1800s style decor, shared restrooms, and rustic setting and approach to facilities. The owner is very helpful and the staff is very polite. Other lodgers very friendly and it adds to the experience. Communal dinners are served but we were sightseeing so didn’t partake. "

"Great staff and excellent breakfast. Only drawback is the flat bathroom floor and the drain being the highest point in there. Water goes everywhere. Squeegee is provided, however would have preferred to not clear a flood every morning. Otherwise fantastic!"

"Our flight got canceled and led us to book this hotel. The staff at the reception was very kind to allow us to have the complementary dinner with the booking even thought it was one minute to the end of dinner time slot. We really appreciated her kindness as we have starved for the whole day. Rooms were spacious, bed was huge and comfortable. The Clarion brand seems to be holding up well since we just checked out of a Clarion hotel in another city prior to this. Not to mention that the hotel...

"Beautiful hotel. The lobby/bar is a fantastic space. The rooms are on the smaller side but we had a large bathroom. Breakfast før excellent. We were met with friendly and accommodating staff. Recommended!"

"Truly great stay at Wood Hotel. The room was super clean and spacious. Comfy chairs and comfy bed. The bathroom was good and had everything you could need. The staff were very friendly and helpful and service was excellent. But the star of the show was definitely the buffet breakfast. It was huge and there was something for everyone.
