"The inn was wonderful, except the bath products were sorta low budget and made our skin and hair feel bad. Either they change them up OR make sure to bring your own products. Also, the clothing optional pool was found on our last day there. We didn't know there were two pools. Oops! Be careful to use the one that is boarded up and not the one we used with just the metal gates. Very relaxing and would come again. "

"The ranch is a little hard to find on Google Maps as we were driving over in the dark after viewing wildflowers in Anza Borrego- it's actually opposite the Warner Springs Ranch gas station. We were saved by an alert and super helpful security guard who spotted us! The cottage is small and cozy, with two heaters in case it gets cold. Basic amenities were provided. It was a good place for us to get a rest and sleep before heading back up to the Bay Area the next day."

Quirky but wonderfully historical
"Super cute hotel. Amazingly retained so many original features making it very quirky. Don't expect high end luxury, rooms are tiny but that just adds to the charm. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The included breakfast is fabulous, fresh and filling. Beware though everything in the town is closed by 8pm, including bars and restaurants. "
