"A new favorite for me and we come here every year and will make a point of always staying at the Black Bear Lodge. Adorable, quiet, spacious and the grounds were stunning."

"I can’t say just how fantastic our experience was. It felt like we were honored guests in someone’s private mountain lodge. The lobby was an incredible place to enjoy a glass of wine or even a flight of wine from the bar. And the charming back courtyard leading to the private cabins was the definition of an idyllic mountain tableau. The staff not only thought of everything, but were happy and excited to share in your excitement about Tahoe. The location was excellent. Walking distance to restaurants and the pier. The room with its own fireplace made it a joy to cozy up at night after a day of adventures. Absolutely WILL be back. We can’t wait!"
"The hotel is right on Lake Tahoe and has some outdoor entertainment space for guests to use such as tables and fire pits. There were also games and activities in the central area outdoors for families. We booked a studio room with 2 king beds. It was plenty spacious for our needs and comfortable, including the air quality which we were able to adjust to our needs. There were extra towels in the cabinet so we did not have to request any. I left my key in the room after we checked out and called the hotel. They located my key right away and made arrangements to return it promptly. Overall it was a memorable stay and I would return again, as well as recommend it to friends and family."
"Hotel is wonderful we had breakfast buffet, which was great and good price. The only thing we didn’t like is parking situation. We did not know that the parking is only VIP and you have to pay for that which was $40. The rest was excellent."
