"We really enjoyed our stay at Alta Vista. Our villa was well-equipped and spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and there were separate bathrooms (with showers) for each bedroom, which was really convenient. The highlight was the gorgeous sunsets over the Pacific that we watched each evening from our private plunge pool. We grew fond of the brightly colored pair of scarlet macaws living nearby (and frequently flying over us). What could be more "pura vida" than that?"

"We stayed at the La Mariposa corner sunset room for 3 days. The wraparound balcony is of course the highlight of our stay here. Everyday we woke up by around 5am to hear the howler monkeys and see the sunrise while sipping a cup of coffee. As the day went by with many activities around Manuel Antonio, we made sure to be back to our room by 4pm. We figured that was the prime time to start watching birds fly back to their nests. We were lucky to see so many scarlet macaws, toucans, hawks, green...

"The hotel was absolutely beautiful beyond words. It’s situated right in the middle of nature and you can see the ocean from many points of the property. There are several beautiful pools. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We saw so much wildlife on the hotel grounds: sloths, monkeys, frogs, etc. Staff were incredibly warm and welcoming.
