Harrisburg hotel rooms a the Independent

"It was also nice since a Sheetz was across the parking lot and we were allowed to check in to our room an hour early and not have to wait since we were heading to a concert. Only thing sucks is being charged a $50.00 security deposit but you get it back. Overall good experience but breakfast was too crowded so we skipped that. "

"The hotel and staff were great. The area is definitely full of poverty, homeless and druggies. Not a safe place to walk around at night. "

"I was very happy with my Sept.20-22 visit but I will never recommend this property because I accidentally entered the wrong date of my visit and was not able to get a refund for the mistake. I paid substantially more for booking the correct date and very unhappy about not getting refund, Because of this I will NEVER book this property again.
