We had an excellent meal in the cafe downstairs. There is a good walk up onto the small hill just by the hotel."

"Great hotel in great location for exploring Alesund on foot. Limited hotel parking, but there's a parking garage nearby (about £20 per day). Good breakfast, but some hot items are in short supply at times. In the evening, the restaurant meals are good, although the menu is a big limited."
