"Really excellent location. Literally steps away from Tube station, 4 coffee shops and many varied restaurants. A reasonable walk away from Exhibition Row. Hotel is very comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful. If I had to find 1 suggestion for improvement I would say the room lighting wasn't bright enough for my needs (just doing makeup, so not terribly important). "

"The staff was excellent in every way. The rooms were large and spacious, especially for London! The free breakfast was amazing (tons of options, hot and cold). Our only downside was that we relied on public transportation and it is about a 15-18 minute walk to the tube station. It was great to have a large grocery store next door. "

"Check in was smooth and greeted by friendly and professional staff. The room was nice and clean with the advertised amenities. Others were available from reception on request. Bathroom had nice toiletries included. Shower was very good with good water pressure. Towels were luxuriously soft. Overall a fantastic 4* hotel which I will be returning to next time I’m in the area."

"We loved our stay at the Ampersand! The location is excellent and the proximity to the South Kensington tube station and Circle line is incredible. The staff were all kind and welcoming, and our room was lovely. "This was our second stay (our first was in 2016) and we loved staying here again. It could use a little updating of the rooms (the only outlets for charging our phones were across the room from our bed) and the tv wasn’t able to connect to our streaming accounts even though it was a smart tv.
