"A great location right on the lake in Hakone. Although it looked to be fully booked we did not see other guests and it was lovely and peaceful. We stayed for 3 nights and were fortunate to see Mt Fuji for two days of our stay. The onsen in the room was amazing, we used it twice a day or more, so relaxing. Cons: To start, the walk to the property is the furthest walk on the entire street practically only up hill walking. It is quite annoying to get anywhere if you want to leave the property. "Great private onsen, close to hakone cruise ferry. Arrived early before check in time, owner did not respond quick enough for the door lock. Luckily met the owner when arrived at the destination to put in the luggage."

"Great property on the hilly (mountain-y) slope with plenty of room (by Japanese standards) for our family of 4 adults, a kid and a baby. There was ample parking lots for our rental car and it was a short drive to amenities, and sights like Lake Ashi and the Hakone ropeway. Loved the fact that the 7-11 was a short walk up the hill, a restaurant next door, and a brewery on the other side of the house. "

"It is hard to locate and when you try to call the number given, it ditects you to the webpage. It is stressful when you are not able to contact anyone from the property and there are restrictions that if you get late, there wiill be extra charges. Nor recommended for someone who wants to relax during the stay. "
