"I arrived to be informed that they no longer take online bookings and therefore my expedia booking was invalid. They said that they maybe could organise a room for later that evening but I would have to pay cash immediately if I wanted it. I left and found an alternative and have applied for a refund. The staff at the hotel were friendly but very clear that if you online book they doi not consider it a reservation."

The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever seen offered at a resort for free! It was honestly an absolute pleasure to stay here! "Lagon 2 is an excellent hotel and one of the best choices in Dakar. The location on the water is very beautiful and the hotel is very comfortable, clean and the staff are all very gracious and helpful. The air conditioning works well and the room is spacious. The breakfast is very good with beautiful views to start your day. The Lagon 1 restaurant nearby is excellent with very good seafood. From the hotel, you can walk along the water into the town and then Independence Plaza. I recommend Lagon...
