"Its average but the food is great "

"Loved this hotel, probably the nicest hotel in Dakar. It's modern yet has a beautiful relaxed vibe and atmosphere to it. The location is perfect, close to nice restaurants/bars but also within good proximity to other attractions like Ile de Ngor, the African Renaissance Monument and town. I much preferred being located here and visiting neighbouring Almadies. Staff were kind and helpful and nothing was too much for them. Their restaurant also serves delicious food."

"Beautiful room "

"Nice place to stay for a night in downtown Dakar. The staff is very friendly/helpful, the room was clean an the bathroom updated. We asked for extra pillows and a towel and they were delivered promptly. The breakfast buffet on the 11th floor gave a beautiful view of the city, but the food could've been better. It was ok, but some hot dishes were not replenished (eggs, sausage) and others looked soggy and overcooked. Otherwise, it's a good place to stay! "

"Lagon 2 is an excellent hotel and one of the best choices in Dakar. The location on the water is very beautiful and the hotel is very comfortable, clean and the staff are all very gracious and helpful. The air conditioning works well and the room is spacious. The breakfast is very good with beautiful views to start your day. The Lagon 1 restaurant nearby is excellent with very good seafood. From the hotel, you can walk along the water into the town and then Independence Plaza. I recommend Lagon...

"My stay was fine "

"Hotel was very good with very large rooms. Room were clean and hotel was very quiet compared to the vibrant streets of Dakar. I used to stay in the center of Dakar but this was quite lovely. Hotel staff were very polite and friendly but need to be more engaging to guests. Breakfast was good but need improvement. Coffee station was almost empty and I can have only one cup for 3 times I went for breakfast. Besides it was all good and will love to stay there again."
