Gatlinburg - Pigeon Forge hotel rooms a the Red Lion

"The room we had was very spacious. We did experience some after hours noise from the room above us that caused us to not get enough sleep a couple nights. The hotel was nice enough. I wish a breakfast option was offered. Conveniently located off of the parkway. Great location"

"The grounds were beautiful. Housekeeping was helpful and the chef prepared excellent food, the corn beef and cabbage wonderful."

"This hotel is extremely misleading!!! Before I booked it I specifically picked the room online that had one bedroom with two queen beds then a SEPARATE living room area with a WALL splitting the two rooms since I had two families with me. When I checked in and got my room and saw it was one giant room I went to the front desk to tell them that is not the room I booked online. They proceeded to tell me that they have those rooms on the 3rd floor but that they were fully booked ( which was a lie). So we had to stay in a large room we did not book and I spent all of that money for nothing. The room was also very nasty, I have photos to prove, the ceiling had mold on it, the mattress on the pull out couch was awful it was so used it was stained orange and you felt nothing but springs when you laid on it. I complained to the front desk and they brought another one from a different room and it was still terrible. The maintenance men were rude, I told them to have a good day and thanked them and they ignored me. I definitely will not be staying here ever again."

"Hotel was old....but in a good location. Water pressure was terrible in the shower and the mattresses were very uncomfortable as were the pillows provided. Breakfast was mediocre at best: Freeze dried eggs, sausage patties, gravy, toast, cereal, coffee, tea and make your own waffles. Nothing is labeled so we didn't even know there was cottage cheese and yogurt in unmarked white containers until our last morning there. It rained while we were there so the parking garage was almost flooded it retained so much water had pooled towards the center even on the second floor of the garage. The indoor pool was closed for maintenance and we didn't know that until check-in. Disappointed and like always, the pictures don't do it justice....in a bad way."

"It was beautiful and perfect. All the staff was nice and friendly. They were able to answer any questions and happy to do so. The concierge and valet staff were amazing. Can’t wait to come back. "

"Absolutely everything was just incredible! The perfect place to stay! The breakfast bar was huge and the seating area more like a cafeteria! Biggest one I’ve ever been to! The indoor/outdoor pools were perfect, unfortunately we didn’t get to use the outdoor bc of weather, but that’s why we picked this hotel, so the kids still had the indoor and they loved every min of it!! The rooms were spacious and beds comfy! Only thing I will say, unless you like pillows that sink when you lay on them, bring your own! The showers were even awesome! Walkin with the rainshkwer head and a regular detachable head!! The concierge desk also gives your free tickets to different activities around the area which was pretty cool! "
