"Breakfast was included but rarely any choice.
If something ran out, it wasn't topped up. Had a boiled egg once in 6 days!
No air conditioning or fan in the room.
It was a small room with no air circulation in 34° heat, it was terrible.
The staff/owners couldn't speak English so I couldn't tell them the problems.
I would definitely not go back here or recommend it to anyone.

The hotel lacks a few safety features in the Bathroom area like unsave bathtub ie could use rubber mats or hand rails.
The Bar/Restaurant on street level is excessively noisy (music - low level base) at weekends Friday/Saturday up to 4AM."
"I had a great stay at this small hotell in beautiful Lörrach. Friendly and helpful staff. The service was good and personal.
Another pluss is the easy access to Basel by train. I will gladly recomend the hotel to my friends and would love to stay again in the future."
"The main hotel building is pretty good, cozy, recently renovated, however the annex building is far from that - it has a vibe of 1980s apartment complex, also not the cleanest. Views are lovely, as well as the area around. The breakfast is pretty bad - choices are limited, quantity is such that everything runs out quickly and, generally, the restaurant is far from great, offering canteen-quality food at Michelin-starred prices."

If you're looking for something in the city center, this might not be the hotel for you - but as a someone pass through and stopping in Basel for a night, it was perfect. Affordable for Switzerland. Very large rooms. We were there during a heatwave and not only was the AC great, but the hotel had ice and water. Very good internet (I had some work video calls and was a little nervous after traveling to some other hotels around Europe). Would 100% stay there again. Felt like it was a great find. "
"Rooms were comfortable, the only issue i would say is the additional bed for child was a ver small sofa. Not one that opens into a bed, just a sofa with bedding. If this had been clearer when booking i would have booked a bigger room.

"The staff, particularly Natalia, were incredibly helpful. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of selection. Very close to Old Town although it was 58 steps down. Remember you must come back up! We opted out of room cleaning for our short stay and we were rewarded with refreshments. Excellent idea. Would definitely recommend."
