"We really enjoyed our stay. Watsons Bay is such a lovely location and the hotel was perfect. Modern facilities with great character. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was good. Parking was easy. Beautiful walks with breathtaking views are right on the doorstep. The only thing that could have been improved was the shower - the shower head wasn’t great. We would definitely stay again, and for longer next time around."

"Best place ever to stay!! The wildlife preserve was amazing and when staying there you got to go to animal feedings and tour at night with a guide using a red light that doesn’t hurt the animals eyes. Food there was wonderful. You could walk through the zoo to get a ferry to Sydney. Best views of Sydney from the zoo. 5 stars all around!"

"Stayed on a Sunday night to attend a function nearby. Booked the executive suite with bath, room was nice with balcony though did have a strong smell of disinfectant type cleaner (maybe the carpets). Bath however had a faulty plug and wouldn’t retain water, so asked reception if they had another option and only other room with a bath was the queen overlooking the beach. Even though this room was smaller and no balcony it actually had an even nicer feel. Staff were very helpful in this situation. Was a little noisy however but to be expected at a pub in a heritage building - take earplugs an no problem. Also a bit bright overnight with lighting from Corso coming in through the funky glass bricks from bathroom window, so not able to blackout with curtains. We would stay again in this room, just bring ear plugs and an eye mask - nothing beats waking up to the sunrise over the ocean literally right in front of you. Rooms very funky and retro. Very clean. Breakfast options were great and included in price and available til 10am which was a bonus. Checkout at 11am generous too. Car parking is an issue in Manly in general - but a great place to stay with no car. "

"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. The room was fantastic and quiet. The staff could not do enough. Early check in, late check out, let us know immediately that we had forgot our phone chargers. Parking was not a problem, plenty of street parking available and could easily drop off and pick up bags. Would stay again. "

"Stayed last week for 4 nights. Before arriving, I advised that I will be arriving at the hotel after reception has closed. I was given a clear, friendly concise email providing instructions on how to access the hotel and my room key and it all worked perfectly smoothly and well. MY ROOM: I requested a room with a view and a bit quiet and that was what I got. The carpets, bed, bathroom were very clean. The washing machine worked well My room had a mini kitchen but was well equipped along with a fridge, microwave, stove, oven and a dishwasher along with pots, cutlery etc. Room was very clean. Towels , face wash clean TV-Had a good sized Smart TV . Bed and pillows-comfy and has power outlets on the side bed easier when i was charging my phone. SERVICE-Very friendly service, easy check in and out. They were able to keep my luggage as my flight was not till the evening. AREA-perfect, Not far from the city, bus stop right in front of the hotel, lots of eateries SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT: 1. Pls provide a nicer smelling body wash and shampoo 2. I stayed for 4 nights but it would've been nice if the rubbish was collected daily and at least have the room cleaned every 2 days. It was fine with me as it was only me staying but it would have been quite messy if there were 2 or more in the room. 3. Pls provide a nicer smelling scent for your bathroom. You can smell a bit of sewer when you flush "
