"We arrived late at night to the hotel, reception was closed but the owner had left an envelope with everything we needed for our stay with a warm handwritten note (including instructions to get a beer from the fridge!) The room was clean and spacious, the property well maintained, and breakfast next morning delicious. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We were looking for a place to stay between Vienna and Pisa and we found Strandhotel Faak along the way at a reasonable price. The staff was attentive and very pleasant (they spoke English in addition to several other languages). The breakfast was included and was very good (e.g. eggs made to order). We visited during February, so their main amenity (i.e. sunbathing and swimming in the Faak See) was not available to us. We look forward to visiting again during the summertime to get the full...
