Fidalgo Island hotel rooms a the Independent

"We were returning for the first time in a long while and were happy to be back. Food in both Carver's & 13 Moons was delicious and the servers were wonderful. The front desk people were also very welcoming. We enjoyed the variety of games in the casino and safe, smoke free atmosphere. We also enjoyed driving to La Conner and Anacortes - quick and easy to get to. We plan to come back and make use of the nearby golf course. "

"For the price, this was a great stay and I'll be coming back. The drive back and forth from Portland is too much for this father of a college student to take in one day so I like to kick back for the night. But I hate paying a lot for a place to crash for a few hours. This place hits the spot. I've stayed at the Days Inn across the street and the room there left much to be desire (I literally pulled the sink out of the countertop when turning the faucet on). "The staff and the owner are very accommodating and nice people. Made my stay there feel very welcome like the laundry and all the other facilities I didn't really get to use the sauna in which I wanted to but I just didn't get the time to. I'm usually up and Bellingham at least a few days to maybe five once a month and yeah my new place to stay. Oh and love the waffles in the morning keep up the good work guys you got a new customer. "
