Top Fado Museum Hotel Reviews
Solar Do Castelo, a Lisbon Heritage Collection
10/10 Excellent
"This property was beautiful. Very rich in history. Walking distance to everything. Would say at this place again.
In addition, the staff was amazing. "
"A beautiful boutique hotel in the most amazing location. Our room on the top floor was very small, but didn’t detract from our overall experience. The staff were all wonderful and the breakfast was lovely. Beautiful breakfast room and dining patio. "
"This hotel is centrally located in Lisbon and looks regal from approach. Staff were friendly, the room was in good shape and a decent value for the money. The rooms could use more outlets, but it sounds like renovations are beginning this month. Our room had a great view of the castle! The rooftop bar is best for drinks rather than food, but had great views of the city. The veranda restaurant was fantastic in both view and food, although somewhat expensive. As mentioned in other reviews, there is one border of the hotel that looks a little sketchy, so just enter and exit from one of the 3 other locations. "
"Great location, room is not very big but manageable with 2 people, staff is friendly. The elevator is small but it works, we never have to wait for elevator. Soundproof but you would still hear people closing door. Overall it was amazing!"
"The guided tour in the museum was a plus. The staff was eager to find solutions to minor issues encountered during the stay. The rooms were spacious, the breakfast was very good, the location was amazing. I only have good things to say about the hotel and its staff. "
"Great property. Friendly staff. You will need earplugs if you plan to sleep before 11pm. No soundproofing can help with cheering singing crowds outside. They are so happy you cannot even get mad. Plan to join them."
"Great location in Lisbon, near the beautiful Rossio Square.
Breakfast was well presented, featuring fruit, cheeses, pastry etc. Very quiet hotel , rooms very clean with air conditioning. Many restaurants, shops and shopping mall with walking .
