"It was very clean and nice new cutlery. Very convenient location for us. My relatives stayed there as well at the same time for a shorter time. They got a welcoming card and gift but I’m not sure why we didn’t get that or whether it depends on the person that checked us in? Overall it was a pleasant stay. Thank you "

"The property was very secure, the apartment immacular restocked with essentioal equipment and cutlery. The only thing to mention that there's no salt or pepper and hand towels, so bring your own. Also, carr parking spaces are very small, so if your car is on bigger side, be extra careful not to scratch a car next to you or a pole. However, these are just small things I wish I knew in advance. Other than that everything was prestine. "

"Perfect beachfront location - excuses the state of the hotel room itself… Overall, the view and the distance to the beach is what makes this hotel a great choice. It’s a shame about the room itself. Everything is run down, even the actual door lock and frame are scratched and wobbly. The curtains are falling off the frame, skirting boards and paint is chipped, the carpet needed replacing a long time ago. It feels pretty cheap and ratty- i.e the ugliest art works you can find and an op shop...

"Just spent our family Christmas at this fabulous property and location - loved it! 18 of us plus 1 infant in 3 x 3 bedroom apartments. Helpful, friendly staff also. We’d very happily return for a future getaway. "

"The resort is lovely with a number of places to eat nearby. The apartment is best suited for families with teenagers not young children as the rooms are not adjoining. They have separate access. The apartment is part of the resort but privately owned so reception will not attend to any queries. One of the access cards wouldn’t enable access to pools. The bathroom tap in studio constantly ran. Rather than fixing it, there was a sign stating that the tap drips with tips of how to fix it -“turn...

"The property is really well kept, clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come again. The views are spectacular! The only slight downside is the kitchen was not very well stocked so plenty of washing-up in order to reuse things. Be aware there are only the basics in terms of cooking/serving, if you like to cook. No pantry staples, or food wrap etc - you need to bring everything. It's not a big deal if you already know in advance, but we didn't."

"The accommodation is close to shops and the beach. We stayed on level 2 which is the same level as the pool so it was a bit noisy with people coming and going. Also tenants above kept dropping their cigarette butts in our courtyard. Overall I would stay here again, but not on level 2."

"The view from these apartments are always great - nothing better than looking out over the ocean. Note: the property and the decor is quite aged, especially the carpet. Also, the windows are not soundproof, meaning that weekends you can get allot of noise from happy revellers and car hoons that cruise the esplanade at night."

"Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. "

"This place is so family friendly The pool is a beach entry and it has a rail for the lederly and a slide for the young and young at heart. I used to take my kids there for about 10 yrs and now i take my grandkids. It is great "

"This is a great property, in an excellent location. The buffet breakfast is the best anglo, hotel-provided, breakfast I've had in a long time. For some reason on the seond morning the food was only luke warm - and we were down fairly early. First day though was primo. Great new wide screen TV - but couldn't find a program guide on the TV. It calls it a 'guide' but its only a channel list. Although a smart tv I couldn't find apps so that I could log in to my own programming - but that could have been my own incompetence with an unfamiliar device. We'll be back, no doubt."

"I love historic hotels. This is an original and still popular with locals, and oozes history. I would love to have eaten there but I was out all day every day, as the menu looks great. I loved the refurb. of the unit with clean new carpet, and everything new. I loved the unit being low key one of 10 separate rooms, and I love the view from the kitchennette window, of green grass tall trees and children's playground, so homely, so much better than large accom. places. I loved the accessibility to the Robina venue I was attending 20 minutes away. ( I want the cleaner to splash some bleach on tiny spot of black mold in shower cos it is all so lovely and new, and it is harder to clean it once it gets a hold, and pour some bleach down the drain hole near the toilet cos it smells cos the last person to shower there was several days ago before my booking, and soapy water has been standing in the pipes.)"
