"Friendly check in Barbara. Did not appreciate that the desk was only open 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Although we booked through Expedia a credit card # or $100 cash is required at check in so you don’t steal the beach towels which weren’t in our room! We left before 9:00 am for the beach therefore couldn’t get towels. We also did a self checkout at 8:30 am therefore there was no way to get cash back had we left it. Our credit card number was manually recorded including cv #, this is not standard...

"It was an easy check in which was sent to us via message. The apartment was beautiful, modern and well looked after. The hotel is right in the centre of the city with 5 minute walk to the beach, lots of restaurants and bars. We would definitely be back."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Dormio. Lovely location and great sized apartments, suitable for all ages and families. We had a problem checking in and this took over 2 hours for us to receive a code to access our apartment. I just think it would be ideal for there to be a member of the team from Dormio to be on reception until at least midnight. Due to the size of the property. Everything else was perfect. "We had booked a 1 bedroom apartment, i had asked if possible to have a room on a high floor, when we checked in the receptionist informed us that we had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom corner apartment on the 5th floor. We definitely got the WOW! factor when we walked in. The apartment was very spacious with everything you could need. Its was absolutely spotless and the views were amazing we had both sea and mountain. My only negative was that we had to leave. I would highly recommend the Blue Line...

"The hotel is located in a great, but not really quiet area. It was very convenient - walkable distance to a great deal of shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. The host and hotel staff are very nice and friendly, always available to assist with anything you need. The hotel itself is very cozy, always clean. Really enjoyed staying here and we will definitely come back."

"The apartment is very centrally located in the historic district and very close to the beach as well. Surrounded by restaurants, bars, nice shopping stores & grocery stores. Walking distance to main historic sites. Saturday night was an extremely busy night so it got noisy at night but the rest of the nights were quiet. Very nice place. "

"Great place for a couple of days at the beach. The complex is a little tired and needs a refresher. The parking lot is in bad shape and needs assigned spaces. It seems like people who are not authorized use this complex to access the beach. The restaurant at the property is top notch and should not be missed. "

A great stay

"The location of the Hotel is excellent with great transport links to the airport. It is within easy walking distance to the sea, and has a wide variety of shops nearby. The room was very comfortable and had a lot of storage space. The breakfast was very good and I particularly liked the fact that you could get your breakfast from 0730 hours. The staff were very helpful and spoke very good English - it was much better than my limited Spanish. When I come back to Alicante, I will again book this hotel. "
