"Hotel is located in front of the main plaza and is a couple of blocks away from the beach. It has a beautiful infinity pool in the roof. There are many restaurants at a walking distance and the hotel has a good and convenient restaurant on the first floor. WiFi may be weak in the rooms but if you need to download a film just walk down to the lobby. El Cuyo is a relaxing place and definitely this hotel helps to wind down. "

"Very nice place decent location but unfortunately when they electricity goes out, they don’t have back up generators and it’s really hot and muggy in your room. They give you a candle but with no lighter to turn it on I think for the amount of money you spend it should have a little back up generator to have the AC working. They only have a generator working on the common areas as in kitchen and bar. I guess they do that to keep the revenue coming in. "

"Lovely hotel steps from the beach (there are no beach clubs in El Cuyo so this is as close as it gets!). Room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony with a hammock and a roof terrace with amazing sunset views. "The property is beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make vegetarian dishes for me. Couple of issues..the toilet bowl and brush covered with ants was left by our door, no coffee replacement for the next morning in our room. The pump for the water was constantly running. We advised the manager of these issues when we checked out. We considered the food was being just ok."
