Strangely shaped pond on Kitley Knowe. Presumably man-made, but for what reason, with an island in the middle. Notice that Harbour Craig [ 1804849, 1804862 is lost in the landscape.
Road junction, Carlops Hill The newly tarred road runs to Carlopshill Farm while a rougher road serves the water treatment works, Fairliehope and North Esk Cottage. It also continues as a path over to Buteland on the Lang Whang side of the hills.
