The motel was fantastic value for money and well located, just a few minutes walk to the station. The room was very comfortable and clean, with great facilities and the breakfast box was substantial and convenient. Note the motel is on a fairly steep hill and busy road, so for those who struggle with mobility, it might be tricky.

This property is cheap because it is very old, it works as an old motel, rooms are serviced daily, simple box breakfast, only 12 very difficult to access car parks, approx 50 room motel...!? difficult property to access from road in , is a typical 70,s motel. Mould n cracks in tiles n walls, smallest TV i hv ever seen in a motel. They hv very limited staff to access, only book if u want a bed to sleep in, having said that, everything worked, just not near the latest model of anything...expensive for what u get, however everything is dear in Sydney...!

Really good value, able to have a family room for 5. 7 minutes walk from Edgecliff train station, 20 minutes walk from Double Bay Wharf, and also a single bus ride to the CBD. A bit of an older building but to be expected for the price. Spotlessly clean and has all the basic equipment we would need. It also has free parking, which is would be quite a perk if you had a rental car.

Good weekend accommodation, but could use updates
The motel is quite close to Edgecliff train station which is convenient, but because it's located right on a main road that is busy most of the day it can get quite noisy. Also, you get a lot of people walking in off the street because anyone can just walk up then get into the elevator without a swipe card. That makes it feel unsafe. I like the privacy aspect of the motel, because nothing worse than receptionists hovering around all day watching your every move, but the motel could do with updating the securing access in the lift so that only people with swipe cards can get into the building. The complimentary breakfast boxes were fine, nothing gourmet but still appreciated. The motel could do with a spruce up with the decor and interiors in the rooms. They currently have issues with fire alarms so you have to close the bathroom door and open the window when showering. In winter it is far too cold to be having to leave the window open. I suggest getting ceiling fans put in to solve this issue because no fan can create a build up of moisture which can lead to mould. I tried to watch tv one night using the room wi fi and it kept cutting out which means the connection is not strong enough. The bedding was fine overall, but could do with queen beds. When I checked in the Manager was present and provided the swipe card to enter my room, but did not show me to the room or around the building. That would have been helpful. They said check out was 10am, but the website said 10.30am
