"Simply the best way to stay in Canary Wharf. You leave feeling relaxed and well looked after. The rooms are luxurious, especially en-suite. The open lounge area is expansive, welcoming with a fantastic library, antiques and more. Very special boat, fresher air. Altogether better than any 5 star hotel. Grand."

"Overall my five nights stay in this hotel was great and will be back since my family lives there. Location is excellent. Front desk staff needed to be more patient. I have prepaid all my nights in the hotel with a third party. The lady in the front insisted that it was not prepaid, charged my husband's credit card. "Proper Country House Hotel. Great looking place. Staff all v friendly and helpful at every touch point from reception to the gym to the bar. Don't forget your Golf clubs (like I did) as great driving range if you don't want to play 18holes (with separate golf bar) Rooms spacious and clean. Bed and pillows a bit hard for my taste but blackout curtains work well! 😉"

"Great location in an attractive building. Staff very friendly and bar was very good. Bed very comfortable. But the room we stayed in was tired and needs refurbishing. Carpet was stained, furniture chipped, watermarks on ceiling and a stained toilet bowl. Nothing to make a stay uncomfortable but for the price, the room (small suite) was disappointing. Also no wardrobe space for long clothing items (taken up by shelves for kettles , safe etc). Finally very few plug points which is strange these...
