"Hótel Jokulsarlon - Glacier Lagoon Hotel was absolutely stunning! This brand new beautiful hotel was the most comfortable I've stayed in. With an incredible bar, hot tubs, amazing dinner and phenomenal breakfast buffet - my family (we booked 4 rooms!) was very impressed. It was the perfect place to stay prior to our Glacier Hike and Ice cave tours. Cant wait to come back someday"

"Lake Hotel Gistihusid Egisstadir was night 6 for us on our journey around Iceland’s famous ring road. This hotel was seemed a little out of the way but perfectly placed for our itinerary. There was an on-site restaurant, and many groups stayed for the night. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the guests all seemed very happy. We stayed in a ground-floor room that overlooked the countryside. It was remote and peaceful. We had a lovely evening here. "
