"This hotel was recommended due to its proximity to the UKZN main campus. This is relative as the hills of Durban and distances mean walking is a no-no. The hotel is comfortable and clean, just note the lower-priced rooms overlook an outdoor common open space. Also, there is no real logic to the placement of light switches. It took me 10 minutes to turn off the lights in the room, as some stitches are in the strangest of places. The staff are pleasant and courteous."

"We really had a great stay. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We were visiting family and the location was very convenient & easy to get to everywhere we needed to. The B&B is clean & tidy, the rooms serviced every day, clean linen & towels and plenty of space in our room. It provided us with a home away from home, and for some peace & quiet. With a small fridge in the room, and a kettle for tea & coffee, plus access to the kitchen with microwave & other facilities, it allows...

"Not that good, I'm afraid. Supply system of water to the showers was so bad, the hot and cold water is on and off. This can cause harm to the travellers. Rooms are not cleaned, sheets not changes. Please if this is how the B&B is operated, then it must be stated so when advertising so that travellers can be prepared to clean the rooms themselves and take sheets for laundry so you can have clean sheets daily."
