"50th wedding, retracing visits. Reception not welcoming. Restaurant not welcoming. Toilet didn’t flush. Floorboards creaking. Room was very cold. Tv was 14 inches?? Breakfast was disappointing - eggs not cooked, 30 minute wait. No parking. We ate down the road at the bridge which was excellent.

"Lovely stay at The Red Lion. The apartment was delightful and the perfect place to stay before a day in Exeter. The pub is very

friendly and our 2 pups were made to feel very welcome. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious too. I would definitely stay again and recommend the Red Lion to everyone. "

"Brilliant place to stay for a stop-off while travelling or as a base for exploring this lovely part of the south-west, it is a really easy and comfortable place. We were in room 1 which had nice views of the church and was right next to the well-equipped kitchen area where you can go and make yourself a drink or relax in the lounge.
