The Los Angeles Athletic Club is a great place to stay if you need to be in Downtown LA. Facilities are excellent, the gym and pool are top-notch. The pool is deep and catches the afternoon sunshine wonderfully. Bars are excellent, with tasty drinks and delicious food. Staff are helpful, Melissa on the front desk in particular went out of her way to make sure we had a fantastic time. Absolutely will be my destination of choice for staying in downtown LA.

Overall the stay was great. I've been before. The rooms allow quite a bit of noise in from both outside and adjacent rooms. I can hear some pee pretty clearly, for example. They have airplugs in the rooms.

Our stay was overall good, but rooms are dingy and old. The location is sketchy and I would recommend to have hotel staff outside to direct and help visitors. It was a little confusing with the parking situation. Also, main front door had a bad urine smell.

my favorite place for a staycation, hotel is showing some wear & tear, but the rooms are comfortable & the staff are top notch. Bathrooms & locker room area could use a serious deep clean, but are acceptably kept up.

I really enjoyed my week long stay at LAAC. They have co-working space, coffee, a gym, and food on-site. The conditions are immaculate and the service is top notch. I will be making this my regular hotel for DTLA business.

I am not sure I received a VIP benefit but my room was a suite and lovely. But it was noisy in the area and although I felt safe with their security measures, it’s in the heart of an urban city. Loved the fitness instructors and free classes with reservation. There was a bug in my room when I came in but received $50 food and beverage credit from the manager. Overall a pleasant stay and experience!

We liked having the basketball court, but booked the hotel specifically for the pool which they kept saying would be fixed the next day but never reopened. They did take care of our parking due to that but still doesn't make up for main reason to book.

It’s a decent hotel, but the room was dark which made it hard to get ready for the wedding we were attending. In addition we only got one regular coffe pod for two of us. I asked for two for the next morning and didn’t get any. In our expedia itinerary it said to ask about our silver perk, but the hotel would not honor it.
