"You would think that a hotel of this caliber would be incredible in every way. Sadly, this is not true. The location, setting and architecture are stunning and on point. However, the decor (at least in the rooms vs villas) is very old school and without modern enhancements. I didn't love or appreciate this aspect of the hotel. "We enjoyed 2 nights here. The front desk staff was fantastic. We liked the private resort which had amazing grounds including pools, and the beach/rocks. The pool/beach chair scenario is very undesireable. They ask you not "save" chairs but everyones gets up at the crack of dawn and goes down to throw their stuff on chairs and then proceed to leave for hours. We just went to the beach and put our towels in the sand, or on a portable chair if available when we were ready to get in the sun. We ate at the restaurant across the street and had a blast. You can also walk up the hill and down the street to get to main Baja area of shops and restaurants. All very close!"

Great stay at Ma&Ma

"Very good hotel, really enjoyed our stay here. Booking in was professional and efficient. Pool area and gardens were lovely to sit out in. Room was high standard, we had a small issue with the electricity going off, but the staff sorted this. My only gripe is that although I appreciate two free bottles of water a day, for a hotel doing that to every room is so much wastage. Install a filtered water machine in the corridor, everyone has a bottle these days. So much wastage and would make the hotel more eco friendly. "

"My daughter had ants in her bed, and when I asked about a refund they laughed in my face and then as I was walking away, I could hear them saying, “Where are these people from and world they live in, thinking they can get a refund for ants in their bed?” So then I walked back and we had a screaming argument so the entire campground could hear us. "
