"I haven’t been to Sylvan Lake for years, it’s changed a lot. Lovely area great views from the room. When they have a full hotel they should open the extra dining room to accommodate everyone as there were a lot of guests in one small area. "

"The staff at check in and the breakfast area were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t enjoy that many hockey families were staying and had a loud party that went on for 5 hours across from our room. The staff were understanding about it, but I don’t feel it’s appropriate for hockey families to play drinking games with the hotel room wide open and people drinking in the hallways. Every time I went to our room, we had to ask for people excuse us to get to our door. I know this isn’t the hotel staff’s fault, but it seems to be a problem at every hotel we stay at during the winter months. They take over the pool area too. "
