"Cabañas el Jardín is an absolute gem! The place was clean and comfortable. The owner, Claudia, is an absolute sweetheart. Very attentive and understanding. The communication was outstanding!! My dad felt very safe and comfortable there. I highly recommend Cabanas el Jardin if you are going to Valdivia. My dad fell at home and the daily breakfast was delicious !! "

"Sweet little cabin lakeside near Puerto Fuy. Very peaceful and beautiful location and surroundings. The cabin was fine, lovely build, but inside quite worn out and we felt a little disappointed given the nightly rate. There were some touches / standards we were surprised by given the cost - eg no shampoo, conditioner or soap, very worn out / rusty / broken furniture. "The neighborhood doesn’t feel safe. The walls are too thin you can hear the conversations of the other apartments. The property entry area is full of bags of trash looks completely torn down. "

"This place is beautiful! We weren't sure what to do when we arrived at the front gate, but someone came out to let us in and get us all checked in. Our cabin was absolutely gorgeous, complete with a wood stove, Chilean toaster :), and a back deck with a view of the lake. There was a stairway down to the shoreline from the deck. "This was the 3rd property I stayed in the Pucón area. The room was closer to a hostel than an apart-hotel. It was adequate, and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked to prepare basic meals, but we needed to purchase our cleaning supplies. The bed was uncomfortable, and one could hear the neighbors in the hallways and adjacent balconies. The staff could have been more helpful (polite but not generally motivated to be helpful). "Nice place, great shower! I stayed in what looked to the be the original unit and it has some wear. The other units were built in 2014 and looked in much better shape. So ask for the two floor units. Security is great, large gate with remote opener for after hours. WiFi is pretty slow at times."

"Great hotel a little bit outside of Pucón - amazing view of the lake. With only a small number of rooms and the owners living on site, this has the intimacy of a B&B. Be aware the entrance to the hotel is easy to miss and it is a steel drive up to the property."

"Beautiful property and view. Staff was so helpful and front staff even helped me print something I needed. There was a broken light in our room that they tried to fix but couldn’t. Staff was very prompt and explained they would fix it the next day after trying for about 20 minutes. Our adult kids loved the outdoor hot tub. "

Not worth the excitement it’s given

"Definitely not worth all of the hype. Poor service whenever we went to the bars or restaurant (staff never available) Breakfast hours are way too short to serve all the people they have staying. We were told one of the pools was strictly for adults yet children and families allowed in. I would not visit this place again."
