"Friendly and welcoming staff. The air in the room was very poor. CO2 levels on 1800-2200 if we didn't open the window. The ventilation just circulated the air. Had to sleep with the window open to get the co2 down and made the room cold and damp due to the February weather. "

"Hotel was good room good breakfast good. Spa,and swimming pool bit run down. Overal not a bad stay few areas just need updating. The room was wasnt refreshed during our stay tea and coffee not replenished very dissapointing.Food ,sncks and deinks expensive including the most expensive PORK PIE in the world £11 for a pork pie scandalous."

"Being a stranger it was hard to find ,and not lit up enough to see at night,went round and round Barnsley and Did worth , not enough information to get there ."

"Chose this hotel for spa due to long flights to get there and was told specifically by the hotel that even though they were closing down that the spa services were still available until the close of the hotel. Got there and asked about spa services and was told that the massage therapists were not accepting any more appointments for the last 3 weeks. So no massage no pain relief. Had I known this I would have stayed elsewhere!"

"Really lovely hotel, brilliant staff. Nicky who was front of house was excellent and really friendly. Made time to speak to me and my family, including the kids. Only downside was they didn't have robes for the spa in the family room we were in. But did have towels, so we made do with those"

"On the arrival the staff were really pleasant and welcoming, a really quick check in. Went to the room (100) and it was warm and comfortable. The only down side was the noise from the restaurant and music below, it did go off at a respectable time tho, but then came on early for breakfast. That’s the down side so avoid room 100 and you will be fine."
