"The La Couronne is in a great location in the middle of the main part of Solothurn, close to shops and local amenities (unfortunately, most of which are closed due to Covid). Car parking is at an off-site local car park just a few minutes walk from the hotel but is expensive. We paid over CHF 43 for around 36 hours. The hotel reception communal areas and restaurant are clean and the decor is well kept (the restaurant is only open during the morning for guest breakfasts due to Covid). Our room...

"Great place to stay during a trip to the area, buss connection to the train station for backpackers. Clean place, kitchen with appliances and utensil available for use, a few areas for resting in and outside the building. Just not sure about the Internet connection - my laptop was not able to find the username, however in other places before and after, it was ok. to solve the problem the host let me use their own laptop to check a ticket. Because of an allergy I sometimes also have a problem...

"This isn’t a hotel but a hostel. There is no shower or bathroom in the room. I never seen any like that in over 20 years. It’s unacceptable especially since it wasn’t disclosed before arrival! The staff were friendly and the location was good. But also No (real) parking, meaning you had to park public which required resets g the parking clock every 1.5 hours. I made it work for me since I could park at my friends house but the fact that nothing of this is properly disclosed prior is terrible!!"

"Let's start by saying that this is a hostel, so amenities are limited and comfort is just ok. That said, this is an awesome place to stay. We added the meal at night--excellent and parking. Staff was very pleasant and helped us understand how to navigate the stay."
