"We have booked thru Expedia before the trip but when i was checking in and showing my expedia itinerary, Blue Horizon International said that it's not booked yet. They asked me to go to another Blue Horizon Hotel which is 10km away to check but also no booking. It is very disappointing. I ended up checking in at a walk-in rate which is higher. "On the plus side the staff were very helpful and friendly despite not speaking any English - we got by with a translation app. The room was big, had its own indoor and outdoor balcony, a great view of the lake and a roll top bath next to a huge window looking out on the lake. Really handy place to stay if you are going to Qilu University of Technology as it is quite far out of Jinan. As a resort the facilities looked good but I didn't have a chance to use any.
