Cons: They did not honor the complementary airport transfer that is announced on line, they arranged a private taxi that charged me 20 US Dollars (for a 4 minute ride). "The Omali is an oasis of pristine calm in the chaos of São Tomé. The hotel and gardens /

area are immaculate. The restaurant food was by far the best food in or near the capital. 5 mins from the airport (no noise). The beach is a bit grubby but far better than the town beaches. Local area was safe in the daytime when we went out although not a lot in the immediate area to see. I upgraded to a suite as wasn't much more but well worth it as room was huge. "
