"It was an adventure finding Belmesnil at night without GPS signal. We checked in late after resolving a minor confusion with our reservation. Found out that we had the entire chateau to ourselves for the night. My wife was afraid of ghosts but if there were any at Belmesnil, they were of the most welcoming and considerate kind. "We tried to book 3 doubles and a twin, I received an email stating to accommodate a twin I would need to update to a superior room at an addition cost, which I reluctantly agreed. However when we arrived at hotel, I was informed they never received my reply and didn't have the upgrade available.
