"The hotel is on the beach, and the room I stayed in had a great view of the pool and the Pacific Ocean. It is centrally located, with a mall across the road. The front desk staff is friendly. and helpful. They also gave me an upgrade to a nice, fancy room! Great breakfast. Safe, walkable and convenient location."

"We stayed for 3 days and found the location convenient for exploring the Puerto Lopez area. I would note that the beds that are described as "queen size" would be called double beds in the US."

"This was a trip to Puerto Cayo. Puerto Cayo is a very very very sleepy little village west of Jipijapa. You have to want to go there. There has to be a reason. Otherwise, most people head to Frailes or up to Manta. If you want quiet and no people -- not cars in the streets or motorcycles making noise, then Puerto Cayo is for you. It's a beautiful and empty 5 mile long beach. Maybe 20 boats out every morning looking for fish. Whales are littler yards away migrating up or down the coast. It's incredibly peaceful"
