" Enjoyed our two night stay. Excellent location, not too far from the railway station and close to the lake/promenade There were features of an 'old grandeur', many of which I quite appreciated. We had a very nice large room with a view of the lake and the casino. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom could have done with a bit of updating, but was o.k. "Our room was large and comfortable, we had the usual pedestal fan, not ideal as it was very hot, but it certainly made a difference. We had booked and paid for a lake view room. There was not one available but the courteous staff were very helpful and quickly offered us a one night refund. We appreciated this and enjoyed our stay."

The main patio off reception is gorgeous with seating areas and a fire - which was a bonus as it was chilly. The property is right on the promenade that takes you to the main strip. It's about a 10 minute walk along the promenade but the walk is beautiful next to the lake. "
