"Being a former prison the interior and exterior certainly had character. Set in an excellent location for the city centre and waterfront. The breakfast was plentiful with the added bonus of an evening meal included should you want it. Would definitely come back."

"The outside of the hotel is very unassuming but the rooms are wonderful! We booked the luxury room and it was huge. There was a derogate living area, table and kitchenette. All of the facilities were excellent. The location is also great with everything within walking distance. This hotel is definitely a great find. "

"The Scandic Paasi is a great little hotel. The location in Hakaniemi is excellent, just across the bridge from the centre of the city and an easy 20 minute walk from the central station. The hotel is tucked away on a square behind the main street, and it was extremely quiet during my stay. As other guests have stated, the breakfast selection is huge considering the price band of the hotel with a wide selection of hot and cold options.
